Buying tickets for opera and concerts in Barcelona

Barcelona’s two great stages sell tickets through their own websites and box offices. A few simple rules help you get good seats.

Updated October 2026

Book direct

The safest way to buy is through the venue’s own website or box office. The Liceu, on La Rambla, stages opera, dance and recitals; the Palau de la Música Catalana, Domènech i Montaner’s concert hall in Sant Pere, hosts orchestras, choirs and soloists.

This autumn

At the Liceu, Bellini’s I Capuleti e i Montecchi runs from 30 October to 11 November 2026, with Verdi’s Requiem on 3 and 4 November. At the Palau, the London Philharmonic plays Brahms and Sibelius on 31 October, and Les Arts Florissants bring Handel’s Riccardo Primo on 26 October (the venues’ own programmes, checked 22 October 2026).

Visiting by day

Both buildings can also be seen on guided visits; see their own websites for times.
