About Sarrià–Sant Gervasi and Pedralbes: the back story
Sarrià was a village before it joined Barcelona, and its high street, Carrer Major de Sarrià, still feels like one. Around it, Sant Gervasi and Pedralbes are residential districts of villas, schools and gardens, with the Gothic monastery of Pedralbes and the hills of Collserola above.
Old Sarrià
Vivanda (Bib Gourmand) is on the high street.
Pedralbes
The monastery’s three-storey Gothic cloister is one of the city’s quietest places.
Take the FGC up from Plaça de Catalunya.
Tibidabo
ABaC (Three MICHELIN Stars) is at the foot of Avinguda del Tibidabo; Collserola and the Carretera de les Aigües are above.
