About The Costa Brava: the back story

The Costa Brava runs north from Blanes to the French border: rocky coves, pine-backed beaches and white fishing towns.

Getting there

Rodalies R1 runs up the Maresme coast to Blanes; for the coves further north, a car is easier.

Eating

Miramar in Llançà holds Two MICHELIN Stars and Castell Peralada One (2026).

A car gives you the coves; trains reach Blanes.

Our advice: stay a night: the coast is best early and late.
