About Barceloneta and the Port: the back story
Barceloneta is the old fishermen’s quarter of narrow streets between the Port Vell and the sea. Its beach is the city’s busiest; the promenade leads past Hotel Arts to the Port Olímpic.
The beach
Barceloneta’s sand fills quickly in summer; walk on to Bogatell for more space.
The port
The Port Vell has the marina and the Maremàgnum quay; 7 Portes is by the Pla de Palau.
Come early for the beach, late for the port.
Eating
Enoteca Paco Pérez at Hotel Arts holds Two MICHELIN Stars.
